Our Ranchers

A cooperative of western family ranchers who are working diligently to better our landscapes while raising wholesome Akaushi beef.

  • Family of four riding horses in a field, all wearing cowboy hats and casual clothing, with a wide-open landscape in the background.

    Howard Ranch | Hammett, Idaho

At Howard ranch we are a fourth generation ranch family from Idaho. Our particular ranch family at the moment includes Bob and Pam Howard, Spencer and Jessica Oldham and children Graden, Brinley and Spade.

    Meet the Howards

  • A group of five people riding horses through a field with tall yellow grass, trees with yellow leaves, and mountains in the background.

    Oldham Ranch | Hagerman, Idaho

Spencer and Jessica Oldham, along with their three children – Graden, Brinley, and Spade – partner and operate along with Howard Ranches in Hammett, Idaho. The children participate in the ranch activities, as well as football, dance, and 4-H.

    Meet the Oldhams

  • Family photo of a woman, a man in cowboy hat, and a young girl smiling inside a barn-like building.

    Rockwell Ranch | Grangeville, Idaho

Matt, Marianne and Riata Rockwell hail from Vale, Oregon. Matt was raised in Central Idaho and Kodiak, Alaska. Living in both of those places, he developed a love of the outdoors, animals and ranching.

    Meet the Rockwells

  • Person wearing a large white cowboy hat tending to a line of saddled horses in an open, dry landscape with distant mountains.

Bradbury Ranch | Lake View, Oregon

Our story is not that different from other ranchers. We were both born in the same hospital in Lake County, Oregon, separated by a few years. We run cows. Mary loves cows. Dick is semi-retired from riding long days to gather cattle but still helps whenever someone can use his assistance.

    Meet the Bradburys

  • Group of five women standing outdoors on a trail in a grassy area with trees in the background, dressed in casual fall clothing including jackets and jeans.

    Pantone Ranch | Shoshone, Idaho

We started out, 35 years ago, by working for, and with, a number of great stockmen and horsemen (and women!) on ranches in the Great Basin and California. For the past 23 years we have worked to build our own set of cattle and take pride in the fact that they’re good “outside” cows that like wide open spaces as much as we do.
