“Meat” your FARMER: Chris Unruh

{Video: Rich Bradbury}

Desert Mountain Grass fed Beef, as a whole, prides itself in working in harmony with the land, the animals, the ranchers, the FARMERS and our retail partners. The farmers serve as an integral piece of our operation.

Meet Chris Unruh. He is a farmer member of Desert Mountain Grass-Fed Beef. Chris lives and farms around Murphy, Idaho. His operation is rare because he grows the seed that other farmers rely on to plant their crops. As you can imagine, Chris is an intense personality, with tons of information! He dove right into helping Desert Mountain Grass-Fed Beef figure out how to ensure our cattle remain on open grass pasture all year round. He is a valued member of the Desert Mountain Grass-Fed Beef family. Wait until you hear what he knows about bees.

Enjoy!
